Violent Nomenclature

Life crushes for her visage I revere
Ever hopeful for your healing though I want you to be near
Your lips to mine and all the emotions we are spending
Nevermind the illusion so never let our wishes remain flowing

A wish this once for you to hear for you, I'll die, I swear
I cannot in this moment into the sky a hopeless stare
Our lives interwoven through the storms we have abated
Like silk on skin with my memories, inflated

Dreams elude me and so it stays that way it seems
Memories haunt me not in my hateful scheme
Dreams elude me and so it stays that way it seems
Memories haunt me not in my hateful scheme

Promises fall and here we are, and here we stayed
Illusion's wings carry though this mortal plane I must reject
Plastic thoughts surfacing and my wishes have decayed
If I ever had anything at all, and further injustice we expect

Dying angels march though she's far from ideal
Light in your hair through the darkened night we've flown
More wanting, more waiting into everything you reveal
It doesn't matter how long and sins for which I must atone

Dreams elude me and so it stays that way it seems
Memories haunt me not in my hateful scheme
Dreams elude me and so it stays that way it seems
Memories haunt me not in my hateful scheme

Dreams elude me and so it stays that way it seems
Memories haunt me not in my hateful scheme
Dreams elude me and so it stays that way it seems
Memories haunt me not in my hateful scheme
